The paintings will feature child-friendly cartoons, animals and nature, historical structures and eminent persons including scientists, sportspersons, athletics and freedom fighters. This apart, charts of world and nation will also be painted.

Besides being child-friendly, the concept will aid in activity-based teaching-learning in schools. The content for BaLA has been prepared by the School Education Department. There will be a common colour code which will be prescribed at the State-level and should be followed for all schools included in the programme.
